Burger, burger, burger, that’s all we ever talk about, right? Well, that’s because burgers are delicious and are an unstoppable force for the stomach. We’ve scouted Vancouver to pick our favourite burger eating spots, and these are the golden nuggets of deliciousness. Go indulge — and if you need to check out the right way to eat a burger first, hit the link.
Save on Meats has damn fine burger knowledge down. For Burger month, they released the Bacon and eh’ which involves a sunny side up egg. Who doesn’t love an egg in a burger? No one, that’s who. These vintage kids have been serving since the good old days. Check them out, they’re awesome.
Local neighbourhood fun
There’s something good to be said for a restaurant who pays attention to where their meat and produce comes from. Romer’s Burger Bar sources locally and serves locally, and boy do they serve. Sure, you can indulge in a meat party, but we’d also recommend the Keen Wah, which involves a quinoa patty and goats cheese.
Fine burger dining
For genuine finesse, head to Buckstop in Vancouver’s West End. Serving Venison burgers, the modern saloon has wonderful class — and it shows in the food. You’ll eat it up, for real.
Thank you, Aunt Vera
Like the Aunt that always fed you better than your Mother, Vera’s has a few shacks across Vancouver. If you’re in the market for something that hits the hangover spot and you’re on a budget, Vera’s will comfort you like a soft blanket on a cold festival night.
